Conservation land is where our hearts catch alight and lifelong memories are made

I am thinking back to a visit to Sailors Grave and the walk through Conservation Land there. We surfed in the day and stayed late into the night watching the sunset. It’s the only place I’ve ever seen fireflies in my life and I will never forget the magic of the moment. Everything about it was precious, the beach as the destination but the watching the expansive ocean sights from the cliffs. My friends and I formed memories that day that will never leave us. It was everything that is precious and beautiful about New Zealand. Please, let’s treasure it.
